Where the Data Comes From
Listings are drawn from multiple sources. The foundation of the directory is the National Public Toilet Map, maintained by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care and licensed under the GNU General Public License. This government dataset is updated periodically and forms the baseline for our listings.
The directory is supplemented with dump points submitted directly by caravanners who have found locations not in the government data, and with locations researched and added by our team from council websites, caravan park listings, and community forums. Operator-submitted corrections - including fee changes, access changes, and closures - are applied as they are received.
We do our best to keep information accurate, but dump point access conditions, facilities, fees and operating hours can change without notice. If you find a listing that is out of date or incorrect, you can report it directly from the listing page.
